Begining April 4 2026, Nicole will be taking an intensive four month course with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute enabling her to safely and ethically assist patients who are seeking their own psychedelic-assisted approaches so that their preparation and integration can be comprehensive and thorough. Psychedelic-assisted therapies have re-entered the scientific and clinical arenas as serious options in trauma healing—not as a cure-all, but as a potential ignitor for change in what become rigid neural systems shaped by traumas. Up and coming neuroscience is illuminating how these substances may support healing: by temporarily increasing neural plasticity, loosening entrenched fear-based circuitry, and creating a new space in which - with the right support - new habits, emotional regulation, and meaning-making can be built.
